Walid Raad Critical Dialogue Series Lecture
Walid Raad’s films, photography, multimedia installations and public performances examine Lebanon’s contemporary history—particularly its wars between 1975 and 1991. His work also explores the representation of traumatic events, as well as how film, video and photography function as documents of physical and psychological violence. Raad is an associate professor at the Cooper Union School of Art.
