On the Future of Public Knowledge: A Lecture and Discussion featuring Patricia Hswe of the Mellon Foundation and Temple Faculty
Join Temple Libraries and the Loretta C. Duckworth Scholars Studio for a keynote lecture by Dr. Patricia Hswe, Program Director of the Mellon Foundation's Public Knowledge initiatives. Dr. Hswe will reflect on the future of digital scholarship and the digital humanities in advancing public knowledge today.
Following Dr. Hswe's lecture, three Temple University faculty members will join a panel discussion on the role of public universities and libraries in the advancement of digital research across the disciplines.
The faculty include Renee Jackson, Associate Professor and Program Head of Art Education in the Tyler School of Art and Architecture; Andrew Iliadis, Associate Professor in the Department of Media Studies and Production in the Klein College of Media and Communication, and Ryan Omizo, Assistant Professor of English in the College of Liberal Arts.
