Environmental Design Institute

NEW for high school students! The Tyler Environmental Design Institute welcomes 10th, 11th and 12th-grade students to explore careers within landscape architecture and horticulture in this hands-on program that incorporates science, design and sustainability. This immersive program utilizes the facilities on Temple's Main Campus in Philadelphia and the living laboratory of gardens and horticulture projects at Temple's Ambler Arboretum. Through design projects, visits by practicing professionals, an introduction to the latest computer-aided technologies and field trips to project sites, you’ll broaden your knowledge about the natural and built environment, advance your skills and discover creative career paths.  No previous experience required. No class held on July 3rd.

*includes $100 materials/trip fee
