Connecting young artists with other creative thinkers.
High school students entering grades 10–12 are invited to attend Tyler Pre-College Summer Studios, a series of two-week, hands-on visual art workshops. Students participate in two classes each session, choosing a morning and an afternoon class from a variety of visual art and design subjects. They explore new media and artistic interests, build technical skills, gain insight into the many college degree pathways and professions within creative fields, and create artwork under the guidance of Tyler's dedicated faculty. Students are encouraged to express their individual creativity and will leave class having experienced the rigor of college-level studio art and design courses.
