Urban Art Educators Presentations

On Wednesday, October 25th, Art Education and Community Arts Practices will host presentations by three Art Educators who serve urban environments. 

 

These Tyler Art Education alum will share their experiences as well as highlight some of the challenges and strategies which are specific to Urban Art Education. 

 

Presenters include: 

Walter Myrick - Middle School Art Teacher at AMY Northwest

Chrissy Seonia - Elementary Art Teacher at Girard College

Greg Laut - Art Teacher at Carson Valley School.

 

Presentations will run from 4:45PM to 6:45PM in Room B086 at Tyler School of Art.

The Art of Recovery: An Exhibit of Work by Women in Recovery from Eating Disorders

On Tuesday, February 21st, 2017, the Renfrew Center Foundation is bringing an exhibition of work by women recovering from eating disorders to the Tyler School of Art Atrium. Presentations will be given by Sondra Rosenberg, ATR-BC and a Renfrew Center alumna from 2PM - 3PM, and 3PM - 4PM. A light reception will follow their presentations.

The Artist-Educator: Maintaining Your Art Practice

Join Tyler alums Marie Elcin (MEd '12) & Robyn Miller ('80) for a panel presentation on maintaining your own artistic practice as an artist-educator. A brief reception will follow the panel. All are welcome!
