  • Credit-Bearing Courses

    Tyler Art, Art Education, Architecture, Art History and studio undergraduate and graduate courses are available. Non matriculated and visiting students are welcome!

  • Teen & Pre-College Programs

    Many of these quick intense workshops are a fun way to focus on exploring new media and techniques. For students planning to apply to an art school, this is an opportunity to acquire work in a variety of media that is suitable for use in portfolio presentations. Tyler’s highly successful Portfolio Bootcamp and Architecture Institutes provide intensive preparation in a challenging, stimulating environment.

  • Summer Painting and Sculpture Intensives

    The Tyler SPI/SSI is a 7 week immersion program for artists interested in developing their work. The program is a non-credit, post-baccalaureate-style residency suitable for BA and BFA seniors and recent graduates aiming to hone their skills.

  • Contemporary Craft Summer Intensives

    Tyler Contemporary Crafts offers a series of one and two week Summer Intensive workshops in Ceramics, Glass, and Fibers & Materials Studies. Taught by nationally and internationally renowned faculty, these non-credit workshops (contact us for information about Act 48 credit!) provide a highly intensive studio experience in our state-of-the-art facilities. Faculty will present their own work in public lectures held in the evenings, offering students in all workshops the opportunity for expanded experience and conversation.
