Next Steps for Summer Pre-College Students

Once you've enrolled in any of Tyler's Online Pre-College Summer Programs, there are a few next steps to complete to ensure you're ready for the first day of your program.

1. Balance must be paid in full.

All students must make a 10% deposit by May 1 and pay their remaining balance in full by June 19. You can make payments online via credit card by logging into the account you used to apply for your program and clicking “My Invoices.”

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept checks made payable to Temple University and mailed to the Pre-College address below. We are unable to accept cash. You can pay in as many installments in whatever amounts work for you and your family, as long as you meet the payment deadline.

4. Purchase your required class supplies.

Tyler Pre-College Programs require students to purchase supplies for their classes so that all students have access to the same materials and can learn with the same resources. All students should come prepared with basic school supplies, like a notebook and something to write with. Most courses and workshops include supplies. However, some courses or workshops require additional supplies. As faculty make supply lists available, we will update this page with links below. All supply lists will be published no later than June 19.

All students must be prepared with their supplies on the first day of classes in order to participate.

If you are enrolled in one of the workshops listed below, please also fill out this form so we can help you gain free access to the Adobe Creative Suite. The Chromebook Adobe Access Request Form is required for the following workshops:

  • Architecture Institute
  • Environmental Design Institute
  • Graphic Design Foundations (AM)
