Elizabeth Duntemann at the Center for the Art and Architectural History of Port Cities, Capodimonte

Author: Jane DeRose Evans

Elizabeth writes,  We had the formal opening day of the Center for the Art and Architectural History of Port Cities at our work/home, La Capraia in the Reale Bosco di Capodimonte, this past weekend. The opening began with a press conference, a lunch in the Giardino Torre hosted by the Port of Naples and the Naples Propeller Club, followed by a colloquium during which I and the other residents presented our projects. Details of the event appeared in a number of local news outlets. La Reppublica featured a story with a wonderful photo gallery, including shots of La Capraia (our home in the Bosco), and the residents with the museum director, Sylvain Bellenger, our director at the center, Sarah Kozlowski, and other invited guests and scholars.
