The Print Center Centennial

This fall saw The Print Center of Philadelphia celebrate it's 100th anniversay with a 100 events around the city including a host of related exhibitions, panel discussions, murals, interventions, and general print mayhem. The festivities culmulating with a gala celebration this past Saturday. Many faculty and students volunteered at the event with featured costumes by Dennis McNett (of Wolfbat Studio fame) and a performance by Andrew Jeffery Wright (of Space1026 fame).  Read More

Printmaking Now at the PMA

A recent Sunday found printmaking faculty, grads and undergrads at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to see the Printmaking Now panel discussion. The panel was moderated by Sarah Suzuki, from the Museum of Modern Art, who lead a discussion about the current state of print with artists Rirkrit Tiravanija and Elizabeth Peyton, and David Lasry, founder and director of Two Palms Press. Visiting Artist Bohyun Yoon at Tyler Glass!

As part of the Laurie Wagman Lecture Series, Tyler Glass welcomed Bohyun Yoon on Monday. He gave a lecture and demo in the hotshop. Bo is an Assistant Professor at the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. Students Win International Facilities Management Association Scholarships at World WorkPlace
