At the Tyler School of Art awards ceremony, Randal Rook, MS City and Regional Planning, was presented with the American Institute of Certified Planners Outstanding Student Award. The Planning and Community Development department faculty select a student based on three criteria: academic excellence, commitment to the profession, and community service. Randy was the unanimous choice for his stellar gpa, transportation work at AECOM, and volunteer service to immigrant communities in South Philadelphia. Randy also applied for and was an awarded a Temple-Wagner Free Institute Research Fellowship during his final year of study in the MS City an Regional Planning program.
