Edgar Heap of Birds graduated from Tyler in 1979 with an MFA in Painting. His work is currently on view in "An Incomplete History of Protest: Selection from the Whitney's Collection, 1940-2017," at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, through fall 2017.
