Emma Holter (PhD student) attends Masterclass
In mid-November, Emma attended an invitation-only master class with Dr. Catherine Whistler - pictured here with Emma - curator of drawings at the Ashmolean Museum and world expert on Venetian drawings at The Courtauld Gallery in London. The class which was organized in conjunction with the Courtauld's exhibition La Serenissima: Drawing in 18th-century Venice. This professional development opportunity permitted Emma to learn directly from a renowned specialist, formulate the fields for her upcoming comprehensive exam, and do significant pre-dissertation research. Her travel to London was supported by Dean's Grant for Student Research.
