GAID Alum “Brunofsky” Work Included in PMA Collection
A Tyler School of Art and Architecture Graphic & Interactive Design alum, who goes by the anonymous artist name “Brunofsky,” recently had their work enter the renowned permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Brunofsky’s poster is part of the “First 100 Days Art Project,” a project, in partnership with the Philly blog Streets Dept and the nonprofit Mural Arts Philadelphia, designed to engage the public around policy issues that could be addressed by President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris during their first 100 days in office.
Brunofsky is one of 13 artists who participated in the project. Their poster, entitled, “Canceling student debt,” encourages the administration to cancel student debt, noting that it impacts one-in-five Americans, creating “a burden and overwhelming stress that lingers long after graduation day, and in many cases lasting a lifetime. I have watched many loved ones carry this weight with them for far too long.”
