Dr. Emily Neumeier to present at "Art Deco Weekend" in Miami FL

Author: Jane DeRose Evans

The 48th annual Art Deco Weekend in Miami Beach is organized by the Miami Design Preservation League, the institution that has been instrumental in preserving the architectural heritage in the city, which has the highest concentration of Art Deco buildings in the United States. On January 18, Neumeier will be delivering a public lecture at the Wolfsonian Museum, titled "The Hidden Histories of Mediterranean Revival Architecture." This invitation resulted after a 3-week residency at the Wolfsonian as a research fellow this past academic year. In this talk, she will be sharing her findings in the Wolfsonian archives.
