Tyler’s Representation Strong Among InLiquid’s 2021 Wind Fellows & Wind Young Fellows

Alumni of the Tyler School of Art and Architecture represent more than half of the recipients of InLiquid’s 2021 Wind Fellows & Wind Young Fellows—awards given for artistic excellence to ten outstanding artists, and to offer them optimal career support.Wind Fellows were nominated by experts in the art field to be considered based on the excellence of their work. Tyler Alumni Receive Prestigious USA Fellowships

Amber Cowan (MFA ‘11) and Erin M. Riley (MFA ‘09) have each received a 2021 USA Fellowship. Cowan and Riley are among the 60 recipients of storytellers, shapemakers, movement builders, and culture bearers practicing today. As their press release states, the 2021 USA Fellows were “chosen for their bold artistic vision and significant impact. Tyler Alumnus Wins Major Glass Award

Tyler School of Art and Architecture alumnus in Glass, Nate Ricciuto (MFA ’15) has recently received the 2020 Saxe Emerging Artist Award from the Glass Art Society along with two other artists, Gracia Nash and Joshua Kerley. According to Dorthy Saxe, the philanthropist for whom the award is named, this distinguished award “gives young artists the opportunity to present their work at a conference…[and] gives [them] exposure… [P]eople would be well to attend and hear the revolutionary ideas of these young artists.”  Read More
