Students: We want your photos of life at Tyler

The Tyler School of Art and Architecture is embarking on a major re-design of its admissions viewbooks, the publications used by prospective students searching for the right college, and this time the school will experiment with a new source for photography: Tyler students.Starting after Spring Break, Tyler is asking all of its students, undergraduate and graduate, to share their best images of the Tyler experience, including scenes of the creative process, classrooms and studios, student life, student-teacher interactions, exhibitions and installations, museum and gallery visits, critiques, research in the field, facilities, social events, technology, spontaneous gatherings and more. Holger Krischke

Former MFA Photography Student (2000-2002) and Fulbright scholar Holger Krischke won the German Photo Book Prize 2018 in the category “Student Projects”. The Prize is awarded by Stuttgart Media University, Germany. Together with his students and his colleague from the print shop, Thomas Haubner, he won the prize for the self-published photo magazine “sensor”. Holger Krischke is currently head of the photo department of University of Fine Arts Muenster, Germany. Read More
