PMA Virtual Craft Show (November 6–8) features work by Tyler faculty

Author: Zachary Vickers

Tyler School of Art and Architecture faculty Seher Erdogan Ford, assistant professor of Architecture, and Barb Baur, MFA ‘17 and adjunct faculty in Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM), are featured in this year’s Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show—the premier online presentation and sale of contemporary American craft.

Both Erdogan Ford and Baur are among the nearly 200 innovative artists to be featured in the show, selected from an applicant pool of more than 800 of the best craft artists in the United States. The jurors for the event change every year and represent a spectrum of skill, talent and knowledge of craft. Among the 2020 jurors is Tyler’s own Doug Bucci, assistant professor and program head of Metals/Jewelry/CAD-CAM.

The show, now in its 44th year, will be virtual due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It will run from November 6–8. Admission is free, and you can explore all of the artists, including work by Erdogan Ford and Baur, during their shop hours (10 a.m.–6 p.m.) here.
