Artist Statement

Ollie Goss is a Philadelphia-based multimedia artist and puppeteer. Ollie’s work builds colorful and absurd worlds that lead viewers to question their current realities and that inspire them to craft new ones. For that reason, they often work in the public sphere and online in addition to traditional art and theater spaces. They've toured and performed with Australia-based Snuff Puppets and Basil Twist. Their work has been seen at The Tank, La Mama, Dixon Place, Coney Island Sideshows, Puppet Showplace Theatre, The Wassaic Project, The Object Movement Festival, Stella Elkins Tyler Gallery, and in internet chatrooms. They are the founder of The Center For:, a modular inflatable space for inquiry.
